Sony Bravia L-Series KDL-37L4000 37-Inch 720p LCD HDTVFor the price I paid I do not believe anyone can match this purchase. To say I'm happy with my purchase is an understatement. (This is not included, but can be purchased at a number of on-line sites at a very inexpensive price.
Although it's not the Hi Def 1080p, I really don't notice the difference between 720 and 1080. I am not using a separate audio system, but the built-in speaker system is quite adequate. The sale price included shipping, delivery, unpacking and setup where I wanted it.
Get two if you're going to use Blue Ray or a DVD player capable of HDMI). Perhaps if I were to look really close, I might see some difference, but I am totally satisfied with the great picture this set provides. Also, I highly recommend using the HDMI cable with the TV.
I'm really surprised at how easy it is to customize the desired settings for both picture and sound. Thank you Amazon.com.
Samsung seems a bit too bright for me. We looked a few brands of TV, Vizio, Samsung, and Sony. We found that Sony has the best picture quality, that is, more realistic color and undistorted details. And the sizeturned out to be perfect for my 12'x12' living room (I originally thought about 42' and 40' TV). we are happy with it.
Had to be 1080p right, wrong. I was very reluctant to buy, as I wanted an excellent TV for a great price. Now where to buy the tv. Then the big question, what size and what resolution.
Next week the price went up by $150. We took measurements and decided 37" was just right for our room. Then the resolution. I had looked for a long time for an HD LCD TV. I am extremely happy with my decision. Remember it is still an improvement over the CRT that you are upgrading from.
Checked all around, watched Amazon for several weeks, noticed the price dropping and kept watching. Finally got to my price point and I bought.
I would do this over again. We looked at many tv's at all the typical stores and finally decided on Sony, as we have always had good lcuk with Sony.
Amazon delivered, arrived perfect and they set it up. You don't have to have the highest resolution all the time.
The 1080 signals come in great in on the 720. It is AWESOME.
Now for the TV in the family room.
Quick delivery, excellent product. I like the fact that I can hook my laptop up to this TV and get HD quality internet broadcasting.
This Sony Bravia 37" HDTV is picture perfect right out of the box. The delivery was early and set up was friendly and fast.
